 Welcome to Adamstown Veterinary Hospital.

At Adamstown Veterinary Hospital, we often say that we are “A Hospital with H.E.A.R.T.” Those words are more than a slogan on a website or a sign on a wall—they represent who we are and how we approach veterinary medicine every day.

To us, H.E.A.R.T. means caring for the whole patient. It means looking beyond a diagnosis and considering an animal’s physical health, emotional well-being, environment, and quality of life. It means recognizing the extraordinary bond between pets and their families and providing compassionate support through every stage of that journey.

It means holding ourselves accountable to the highest standards of veterinary medicine, treating every client and team member with respect, and working together as a unified team to provide exceptional care. Most importantly, it means never losing sight of why we chose this profession in the first place—to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them.

This commitment to our core values is one of the reasons Adamstown Veterinary Hospital has chosen to remain proudly independent and locally owned.

In a time when many veterinary hospitals are being purchased by large corporations, we have intentionally remained independent because it allows us to stay focused on what matters most: our patients, our clients, our team, and our community. The decisions we make are not driven by shareholders, corporate mandates, or distant executives. They are made right here by the people who live and work in this community and who are personally invested in the families we serve.

We believe veterinary medicine should still feel personal.

Today, our hospital is home to five full-time veterinarians, seven Certified Veterinary Technicians, and an exceptional team of veterinary assistants, client service representatives, and support staff. One of the greatest strengths of an independent practice is the ability to build a collaborative culture where experienced professionals work together, share ideas, mentor one another, and continually strive to provide the best possible care.

While veterinary medicine continues to evolve, our commitment remains the same: to provide compassionate, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with the families who trust us with their pets.
